"Rae is the triple-threat house music DJ you need to know"

Magnetic Magazine.

DJ Rae's live sets continue to create hype, with a worldwide fanbase from headlining tours with Defected, Ministry of Sound and Pacha, plus global festivals and residencies at Ushuaïa and Lio Ibiza.

Her USP is her incredible vocal which raises the bar throughout her sets, performing seamless live PAs of her massive clubland anthems like ‘Hide U’ alongside Sandy Rivera and the huge Top 20 release ‘Take Me Away’ with DJ S.K.T, whilst remaining stylishly composed as an undeniably skilled DJ, who has worked from her roots of vinyl with a passion for selection and mixing.

Rae proves to be one of the few females in the house music scene with such a dynamic career, currently on tour with the hugely successful Hacienda Classical, which has seen her take on such iconic stages as The Royal Albert Hall and on The Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival, cementing Rae's status as a unique artist to be reckoned with.

Sharing a great history with Defected Records since her first, self-penned release with the label ‘Can’t Stop’ with Kings of Tomorrow became a house anthem, Rae's multi-faceted talent lead to her fast becoming an artist in demand, with many confident productions on the label. She also compiled and mixed the prestigious Defected in the House compilation, and has since gone on to release on Armada, Spinnin’, Get Twisted, Sony and many more.

Rae's definitive sound resonates through the genres. A voice with a unique quality that can transport you to the beginnings of house music, and yet remains fresh and relevant throughout the times. Her sharp production style is in the same way reminiscent, fuelled by influences from the early New York and Chicago house scenes. With this unique combination, Rae's DJ sets charged with live vocals elevate any club or festival to another level with infectious energy.

Recently producing as DJ Rae with collaborations ‘Reachin’ with Lupe Fuentes on In The Loop; The ‘Good Times’ EP with Deepshakerz on Toolroom; ‘Get Me Down’ with ATFC & Duane Harden on Armada; and the launch of Rae’s own label, RATED. The first single ‘My Soul’ has set a benchmark for great things to come. Rae also produces and remixes under the alias Kamereon & Raw Twin and hosts her own monthly podcast ‘My House’.

With a passion for song-writing from day one, Rae is now sought after within the dance and pop industry, collaborating and penning songs for major artists across the genres. Using her full name Rae Hall, recent features include ‘Lose Myself’ from up and coming producer Kharfi, supported by DJ Snake and The Chainsmokers; ‘You & Me’ with Ryan Blyth & Scrufizzer, with support on Radio 1Xtra, Capital and Kiss; and Rae's third release ‘Sundown/Loving Me’ with KC Lights on Danny Howard's label Nothing Else Matters, all clocking up big plays on Spotify and BBC Radio 1.
